A Global Effort to Empower the New Juaben Table Tennis Club
In a heartwarming show of international support, Melissa Thompson, a compassionate supporter from the United States, has thrown her weight behind “Project Two Thousand (2,000) Balls” — an initiative designed to elevate the training capacity of the New Juaben Table Tennis Club by providing a steady and sufficient supply of training balls.
The project, which officially launched just last week, has already gained impressive traction both locally and internationally, capturing the attention and support of sports enthusiasts, philanthropists, and community leaders.
On June 23, 2025, the club proudly received Melissa’s generous donation of table tennis balls during a vibrant afternoon training session. The moment was marked by excitement and gratitude as the club chairman personally accepted the gift. In his remarks, he conveyed profound appreciation to Melissa for her selflessness and emphasized the critical importance of such support in building a strong sports foundation for youth in the region.
“Melissa’s contribution is not just a donation; it is a powerful message of belief in our vision. We are grateful, and we call on others to help us bring this project to full fruition,” he stated passionately.
